1. Allowed Product Attribute with Manage Product Attributes group.

Here You can see that we have assign Manage Product Attributes group to Mitchell and also Allowed some product attribute.

2. Mitchell - Product Attributes.

only the Leg and Color attributes have been explicitly allowed. However, Mitchell is still able to use other attributes because he has access to the Manage Product Attributes group, which allows him to bypass these restrictions.

3. Allowed Product Attribute for Demo.

Here You can see the Manage Product Attributes group has not been assigned to the Demo user, but certain product attributes have been Allowed.

4. Demo - Product Attributes.

Here you can see only the Leg and Color attributes are allowed for the Demo user. When attempting to use other attributes, the system correctly enforces the restriction and displays a validation error.

What does this module do?

This module allows you to control which product attributes each user can access and used in product. It prevents unauthorized attribute assignment and keeps your product data structured.

Can I restrict product attributes for specific users?

Yes, You can assign allowed product attributes per user directly from the user form. Each user will only be able to work with the attributes you define.

What happens if a user tries to use a restricted attribute?

The system immediately blocks the action and displays an error message.

Can users bypass the restrictions?

Yes, Users can be assigned to the Manage Product Attributes group, granting them full access to all product attributes. Members of this group are able to manage product attributes without any limitations.
