Website Sale Disable Out-of-Stock Variants
This module automatically disables out-of-stock product variants on the website to prevent customers from selecting unavailable combinations. Products remain visible in the shop, but variants with zero available quantity cannot be added to the cart. It improves the customer experience and helps avoid orders for unavailable stock. The feature can be easily enabled or disabled from the Website settings.

1. Configuration
After installing and activating the module, navigate to Settings > Website. Under the eCommerce section, you will find two configuration options: Disable Out-of-Stock Product Variants and Hide Out-of-Stock Products from Shop, These settings allow you to control product visibility and variant availability based on stock. By enabling Hide Out-of-Stock Products from Shop, products with zero available quantity will be automatically hidden from the website shop.
2. Example: Product Hidden Due to Zero Stock
In this example, the product "Corner Desk Right Sit" has zero On Hand quantity. Since the Hide Out-of-Stock Products from Shop option is enabled, this product will automatically be hidden from the website shop and will not be visible to customers.
3. Website Behavior
On the website, if a customer tries to search for this product, it will not appear in the search results. Since the product is hidden due to the enabled configuration, it remains completely invisible in the shop and cannot be accessed by customers.
4. Product Visibility After Stock Update
If stock quantity is added to the product, it will automatically become visible on the website again. Once the On Hand quantity is greater than zero, the product will reappear in the shop and search results, as shown in the image.
5. Configure: Disable Out-of-Stock Product Variants
To restrict unavailable variants instead of hiding the entire product, enable the Disable Out-of-Stock Product Variants option under Settings > Website > eCommerce, and click Save. Once activated, products will remain visible on the website, but any variant with zero available quantity will be automatically disabled and cannot be selected or added to the cart.
6. Variant Becomes Unavailable on Website
In this case, the product "Conference Chair" has a variant "Aluminium" with zero On Hand quantity. Since Disable Out-of-Stock Product Variants is enabled, this specific variant will be unavailable on the website. Customers will still be able to view the product, but the "Aluminium" variant cannot be selected or added to the cart until stock is replenished.
7. Website Variant Availability
On the website, the product "Conference Chair" remains visible to customers. However, the "Aluminium" variant is marked as unavailable because it has zero stock. At the same time, the "Steel" variant is still available since it has stock on hand, and customers can select it and add it to the cart without any issue.
